Our process begins with an initial consultation, where we discuss your ideas, needs, and design preferences. We provide in-house design services and collaborate closely with you to specify details and create drawings. Once the design is finalized, we handcraft your piece with care and precision. Our typical timelines are:

Absolutely! We work with a variety of sustainable domestic hardwoods and live-edge slabs, US-made metals, finishes, and, when required, glass and upholstery options. We believe in open-ended customization, so you can select everything from wood species and metal finishes to dimensions and design details. We strive to use environmentally sustainable materials and human/pet friendly finishes in all our projects.

We offer repair services on a case-by-case basis, especially for pieces crafted by Dust & Spark. If you have a repair need, reach out to us, and we’ll see how we can help.

Our custom projects priced at less than $3,000 require full payment upon approval of the estimate to schedule and build. Projects over $3000 will be broken up into two payments - a 60% deposit to schedule and build the project and the final 40% payment due upon pickup, delivery, or installation. For large projects and trade professionals, we can work with you to negotiate a payment structure for your specific needs.

Yes, all of our work comes with a 1 year limited warranty for defects in craftsmanship. All pieces we make for interior purposes should be kept in temperature and humidity controlled environments. If you experience issues due to environmental factors or physical damage, we will work with you to come up with a solution to repair the effected piece/s.
